While Jim Gaffigan Proud of his weight loss journey, he can’t help but hold on to some of his “fat clothes” from the past.

Although Gaffigan plans to share more about her weight loss journey in her new Hulu special. thinhe previously revealed that the drug Monjaro helped kickstart his new lifestyle.
“Most of our lives we’ve been told, ‘Just control your appetite. Just stop being a pig,'” Gaffigan shared before praising weight-loss drugs. “The fact is, we can’t. Maybe our brains are a little fuzzy or whatever. I think in some ways, appetite suppressants are justifications that people eat compulsively, that they’re not weak — that some of it can be fixed.”
During the first 10 minutes of thinGaffigan said to his new form. In the episode viewed by Men’s Healththe best-selling author joked that he didn’t know how long it would last.
“I’m trying to enjoy being thin because I know I’m going to be fat again,” he said in the special. “It’s not sustainable.”
When asked about Big Men’s legacy in comedy, Gaffigan reflected on whether he saw a change in himself or the audience laughing with him.
“People always said, ‘If you lose weight, you lose all your action,'” he shared with her. Men’s Health. “It’s so weird, because in some ways, we’re not ridiculously big guys, are we? That’s the role I have to play. But in some ways, it can be our way of being warm.”
When he’s not performing stand-up comedy around the country, Gaffigan is working up a sweat working in the yard and trying to stick to his intermittent fasting routine. He also revealed that his favorite protein is steak and that he likes to add something healthy to his meals from his garden.
“Growing vegetables makes you more interested in consuming those vegetables, which makes you healthier, which makes you aware of what you’re eating,” he shared, “which Fast food just looks gross.”
One rule that hasn’t changed in the Gaffigan household is whether or not healthy snacks enter the bedroom.
“Now, my wife won’t allow it,” he said. “And I’m not afraid of it, but I won’t do it.”
