UFC president Dana White sat right next to her friend President-elect Trump at UFC 309 on Saturday night, which took place at Madison Square Garden.
The New York City crowd roared for Trump as he entered the building. They were joined by White, Elon Musk, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., House Speaker Republican Mike Johnson. R-La, and music recording artists Jelly Roll and Kid Rock.

Several fighters also paid tribute to Trump as he sat in the cage. UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones was among them. Jones danced a celebration for Trump and then handed the ballot to the president-elect.
“I think it’s positive for the world to be honest with you,” White said when asked if a Trump presidency would be positive for the UFC as a business. White added that he’s noticed a vibe shift in New York as well, and Saturday night was unlike anything he’s experienced in the past.
“Like I said before, I can feel the difference,” White said. “When I go to places like New York that’s usually crazy blue and people run up to me and thank me and say… And the last time in New York or the many times I’ve been here, The bar is a completely different atmosphere – it feels like New York again.
