Donald Trump has surpassed himself. After a turbulent return to the White House, the American Mechan President revealed his most reckless sermons so far. After he threatened to seize Greenland and Panama Channel, Trump is now Gaza, the Palestinian territories shattered in the war. His proposal to transport the population of Gaza 2.2 million people elsewhere, with the United States taking over the tape in a “long -term ownership position”, which deserves morally denunciation.
It will be easy to reject Trump’s comments as another cabin. The plan is so useful that we are unlikely to see Noor today. However, the president, who revealed him to the global media, with the visiting Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, to his side, emphasizes the irresponsible way in which the most powerful leader in the world runs his foreign policy.
It seems that the self -declared deals maker views the world as a giant bazaar in which everything is fine to use it as bargaining chips, with little attention to the repercussions. This is not a game we have allies around the world that can allow it to play. It generates fear and uncertainty, which will accurately harm Washington and weaken its network of alliances.
The American acquisition of Gaza would violate all international standards. Any American military action in the tape, which has been controlled by Hamas since 2007, will conflict with Trump’s promise to keep American forces outside the combat areas in the Middle East. The echoes of the disastrous Iraq invasion of Iraq will carry any hopes of Trump to strike a big deal that would lead to the normalization of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with Israel.
The comprehensive forced expulsion of Ghazan will be an ethnic cleansing. It will revive memories in 1948, when hundreds of thousands of Palestinians fled or displaced during the war that accompanied the declaration of Israel with independence. Trump seems to be believed to be able to throw the Palestinians on Egypt and Jordan. But, like other Arab countries, they strongly rejected the idea.
He talked about the transformation of Gaza – which was crushed for more than a year from the Israeli bombing after Hamas’s horrific attack on October 7, 2023 – to “Riviera in the Middle East” in which “representatives from all over the world can live.” The idea that some Palestinians may also live there is just a later idea. As in his first term, it appears that the American president is unable to the names of the Palestinian person, and instead he sees them as a consuming pawn in a wider game.
If Trump can suggest grabbing Gaza, moreover, what next? Many will fear that the far right -wing Netanyahu government will give the green light to include the occupied West Bank. During his first term, he canceled decades of US policy by recognizing Jerusalem – which is being waived – such as the capital of Israel and the claim of the Jewish state for sovereignty over the occupied Golan Heights.
The American Arab and Western allies hope that Trump’s performance on Tuesday is a sarcastic stir to negotiate his endeavor to secure a deal between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Israel, while pressing the regional countries to assume the responsibility of Hamas -controlled Gaza. But they cannot rely on this assumption.
Trump has repeatedly pledged to bring peace to the Middle East. It seems that peace for him means a deal between Israel and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. However, it appears that he ignores the road to his header requires a peaceful decision for the Arab -Israeli conflict. It cannot include emptying Gaza from its people to build resorts on the Mediterranean coast.
