This actor made his debut in the 2000s and charmed everyone with his promising performance. Many thought he would be the next big star in Bollywood. He worked with some amazing directors and wonderful actresses. However, things didn’t work the way he wanted to. The politics of the film industry got to him and affected his career.
Actor who runs multiple businesses
The actor we are talking about is Vivek Oberoi. In an interview with SCREEN, the actor talked about doing 67 projects in 22 years. However, he believes the film industry is an insecure place. After doing Shootout at Lokhandwala in 2007, he won awards and thought he would get more offers. But that didn’t happen. He had no work for 14 to 15 months. He didn’t sit quietly and didn’t let the Bollywood lobby decide or control his fate. So he ventured into doing multiple businesses.
Further in this entertainment news, Vivek Oberoi said that business was always his plan B. Cinema was his passion but business was his livelihood and it helped him earn his independence and get out of the trap of lobbies. Today, Vivek is a successful businessman and runs multiple ventures across different industries and also handles his filmy career.
The Saathiya actor, who lives in Dubai, is quite content in his life. His career has not been easy and his rift with Salman Khan is known to all. The actor will be seen in three films next. He further said that at one point, he was stressed and took so much tension and realised it was not worth it. “Somebody may seem very successful and important, but inside he could be empty, sad, and lonely; that’s their score. Life is about choices; even today, if you choose well, your life will start changing tomorrow. It is we who don’t do things, then we blame God and destiny. It’s more like we have become human doings rather than human beings,” the actor said.
