The country’s foreign minister told the BBC that Rwanda illegally occupies the Democratic Republic of the Congo and trying to regulate regime change.

Sixteen soldiers from South African countries were killed in clashes with M23 around Guma last week.
In a public image on X with his counterpart in South Africa, Rwanda Kagami President said that the SADC forces “are not a power to preserve peace, and have no place in this position.”
The fighting worsened the humanitarian crisis in the eastern Congo, where the M23 seized large areas of Northern Kivu County, around Juma.
Shelli Thakal, of the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) said that the city’s residents are running out of food, clean water and medical supplies.
“The supply chain has already been strangled at the moment if you are considering reaching the ground, reaching the air, and when everything is closed,” news agency told AFP.
Since the beginning of 2025, more than 400,000 people have been forced from their homes, according to the United Nations Refugee Agency.
A spokesman for the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Jeremy Lawrence, said there were reports on sexual violence by the Congolese forces.
He said that there are reports that at least 50 women were raped, some by many men, in southern Kivu.
M23 has also killed at least 12 people in brief executions since the crisis began, according to the United Nations.
Rwandian spokesman confirmed that the country’s forces secured their borders in response to “repeated violations”, including 15 deaths, from the boundary bombing.
“The Democratic Republic of the Congo needs to do better work in obtaining their lands in order. This is their responsibility.”
Mrs. McCulo added that Rwanda was putting “severe defensive mechanisms and offensive mechanisms along the borders to protect her investments.
She also said that Rwanda was concerned about the presence of Dr. The militias responsible for the 1994 Rwandan genocideWhich wanted to return to Rwanda “to finish the job.” The Congolese authorities accused of working with these groups.

She said: “I think Rwanda should be under a ban on all its mineral exports, and it should not benefit from what has been mined illegally and under the forced work in the Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.”

Mrs. Wagner called to stop the external aid that is sent to Rwanda and sanctions to put it on the leaders “Enabling this war.”
Foreign donors, such as the United Kingdom and Germany, have already threatened to suspend aid.
It also called for the suspension of Rwanda forces from the United Nations peacekeeping missions all over the world.
She said: “We have to witness a country that presents itself as a peaceful owner in other countries, which (G) is warm in the Great Lakes region.”
UN experts said last year that Rwanda had between 3000 and 4000 soldiers working alongside M23 in the eastern Congo.
Human Rights Watch warned against escalating risks to civilians with the fight against Dr. Kongo’s army with the M23 rebels. The humanitarian group accused both sides of committing serious violations against civilians.
United Nations Secretary -General Antonio Guterres has warned that the current conflict risked an escalation to a broader regional war.
The Uganda Army said it would reinforce its defenses along the border with Dr. Congo in response to the increase in the fighting.
Dr. Congo is a vast country, about two -thirds of the size of Western Europe, which borders nine different countries.
Previous conflicts in the country are equivalent to, in the 1990s, in many neighbors and called “Global Wars in Africa”.
