Christmas, in many households, is a holiday of tradition. Dinner and breakfast are the same each year. They enjoy songs and movies. And the tree is always the same. U.K. retailer Argos, though, is offering an alternative for those looking to shake up the holidays — and it’s certainly turning heads.
Chain’s Umbrella Tree is an eight-foot Tenenbaum that forgoes the traditional triangle shape and instead looks like a Festivus pole with a spruce tip cap.
The majority of the center support pole is largely empty except for a few fake needles running towards the anchor. At the top is a kind of canopy, with over 800 tree tips. This allows owners to decorate the tree with hanging ornaments.
The tree is currently selling for £157.50, which is about $200 in US dollars.

The unique shape of the tree has, unsurprisingly, brought out the funny on the internet, meaning that Argos has had to aim to place questions on the product page. Among the now-removed questions, people asked “Where’s the rest of this? You’re kidding, aren’t you?” And “just why?”
The tree was created by a company called Premier Decorations, which has a unique vision of what a Christmas tree should look like. While there are many artificial tree manufacturers that lean toward the traditional look, this company chooses to go the other way.
Other premier decoration offerings include a 7-foot upside-down Christmas tree (which is exactly what you’d expect) and a 6-foot-tall tree shaped like a crescent moon.
