Robert Votes/CBSSabrina Carpenter Makes quite an impression on stage, but not all of them have been positive for parents.
In its full American leg Short ‘en suite tour Wrapping up last weekend, Carpenter, 25, made waves for her risqué outfit – which included bedazzled lingerie – and suggestive lyrics and choreography. While singing “Juno,” Carpenter even pantomimes a sexual position at one point.
Carpenter, a former Disney Channel starlet, has many young fans who are eager to attend the shows but it turns out that most of their parents are shocked by some of the acts. Jeena DewanFor example, recently shared Instagram footage of 11-year-old daughter Everly covering her eyes during “Juno” at a show in Los Angeles.
Criticism has reached online. The Talk In a clip from Thursday, Nov. 21, the panelists disagreed on whether Carpenter should have softened his moves to accommodate a younger audience.
