For the second week in a row, the division rivalry game ended with a blocked field goal for the win.
This time, it was the Green Bay Packers who intercepted Chicago Bears kicker Cairo Santos’ game-winner 46 yards as time expired, winning 20-19.
Last week, the Kansas City Chiefs kept their undefeated season alive with a Block field goal against the Denver Broncos. And like this game, a rookie quarterback’s big drive in crunch time was all for naught.

Caleb Williams was looking for his first game-winning drive, and he got his team into field-goal range with some clutch throws, including a back-shoulder feed to fellow rookie Rome Odense for a 21-yard gain on 4th-and-3. was also included. Keep the drive alive.
But when Santos went to step in for the game-winning field goal, Carl Brooks flew off the line and got his hands on the ball, keeping the kick short and giving his team the victory.

The Packers moved to 7-3 on the year, while the Bears fell to 4-6.
Green Bay has won 11 in a row over Chicago. The Bears haven’t beaten the Packers since 2018.
A big drive by Jordan Love and company on a five-point deficit with 4:17 to play in the fourth quarter led to Green Bay getting the win before the block. After picking off a Christian Watson pass and running 60 yards to the Bears’ 14-yard line, Love was able to get deep into Chicago territory.
Then Love scrambled out of the pocket and went 13 yards, tried to extend the reach but came up a yard short. However, after a failed challenge by Matt LaFleur, Love covered the ball from a yard out to take the lead, although the two-point conversion to make it three points failed.
Love didn’t throw much in the game, going 13-for-17 through the air, but he did manage 261 yards, doing so with a touchdown pass to Jaden Reed early in the game. Love was also taken away.
On the ground, Josh Jacobs provided 58 receiving yards along with a score of 76 yards on 18 carries.

For the Bears, Williams was 23 of 31 for 231 yards, though he did not have a passing touchdown. Instead, scores came on the ground with Roschon Johnson and D’Andre Swift both scoring for 104 combined yards rushing.
