Sharing my most important blog posts and pages of 2024
Hello friends! How are you? How was your weekend? Our room was fine. The kids spent a lot of time with friends, P played basketball, and I taught two classes. The pilot had to work and it was hard to believe that this was his last training weekend ever; He will retire at the end of the month!
In today’s post, I’ll be sharing a summary of my most important blog posts and pages from the past year. It’s always fun to look at analytics and see which posts are performing well, and almost all of these posts are posts I created to try to provide a lot of value, like a recipe, a how-to, a full review, etc. It’s also an interesting approach since quite a few of these posts my SEO team came back and did surgery on. SEO is SEO-ing and I’m all about it! It’s also a great way to introduce new readers to the blog and prevent posts from going viral and dying.
Here’s the full tour!
The most important posts and pages of 2024
1. Blog home page
This means a lot to me because it means that the majority of my readers are my best friends on the internet who click directly into the blog without finding it via Google. I love spending time with all of you every day, and for me that means checking in to see what’s going on. <3
2. Healthy home-made dog food
Macy’s dog food recipe! I loved putting this post together because she loves this dog food so much, and I have had so many people tell me their little ones love it too! I make a big batch every two weeks or so and she goes crazy about it.
3. Homemade gelatin dessert for gut health
This is a recipe that kids ask to make all the time; They love it and it’s a good way to get some nourishing ingredients for the gut.
4. Easy enchiladas with grilled chicken
Seriously, the easiest enchilada recipe I make all the time and it’s a real crowd pleaser. Using roasted chicken makes it quicker too!
5. Lazy Sunday dinner ideas
I’m writing this post on Sunday, wondering what we’re going to eat for dinner, so this is one of those posts I wrote because I needed it myself 😉 It contains some of our quick and delicious recipes – to dinner options.
6. Homemade protein ice cream
This protein ice cream is so good if you want a dessert with a little protein in there!
7. What to expect at Orangetheory Fitness
I haven’t done Orangetheory in years, but it was my favorite exercise. Here’s what you can expect in the full semester.
8. F45 vs. Orangetheory – My full review
I’ve switched to F45 and in this post, I’m sharing the differences between these two popular formats.
9. How to set up your Peloton bike (or any spin bike)
This is another post I wrote because I realized that the information available wasn’t very helpful. When I made the video, I said, “I hope this helps a lot of people who are confused about bike setup,” and I’m so excited that it made a difference.
10. Morning detox drink with turmeric
This morning drink is warm and comforting with lemon and turmeric. One of my favorite ways to start the day.
11. How to care for a fiddle leaf fig tree
The credit for this blog post goes 100% to Frida in all her glory. She’s a tough girl, and once I cracked the code on how to take care of her, I knew I needed to write an article about it.
12. Review if it’s worth it
This is a workout I’ve loved for the past two years and got to take a live class the last time we were in Scottsdale. If you’re looking for a low-impact workout that focuses on movement and strength, this may be for you.
13. How to train for a half marathon while strength training
Sharing tips on how to incorporate split training while training for a half marathon.
14. Whole Foods Red Lentil Soup Recipe
I love this soup from Whole Foods and used to buy it all the time. There are two problems: I don’t like plastic-lined soup cups (hot food causes them to leak), and they are expensive. I knew I could make it at home cheaply using organic ingredients, and this copycat recipe tastes 100% like the real thing.
15. Mediterranean Egg Bites (gluten and dairy free)
These egg bites are perfect for preparing and storing in the freezer. On a busy morning, just pop a few in the toaster oven or microwave, grab some fruit, and boom. Breakfast is served.
16. TRX Workout Plan for Beginners
TRX is a great workout tool but it can be intimidating at first. Here are some of my tips and plan for beginners!
17. How do you keep your guinea pig’s cage clean?
This post shares all the details on how to keep your guinea pig cage clean and your home odor free from the coop. My first interest was when we got the guinea pigs!
18. F45 for Beginners – What to Expect in the Classroom
LOVE F45 and I share details about this format, the tools they use, the training breakdown, and tips for my first time friends.
19. Sculpture Society Review
Sculpt Society is one of my favorite weekly workouts. The classes are fun and unique, I love the instructors (they’re not fake/clichéd/overhyped), and I always get a great workout. If you like barre dancing and cardio, Definitely try these.
20. Homemade sea salt hair spray
A simple recipe for texturizing spray that you can make at home. You probably have most of the ingredients on hand as well.
Tell me friends: what would you like to see on the blog this year? Is there anything you’d like to see more of? Is there anything missing from this site that you would like me to include? Thank you so much for your help, comments, and being here.
xoxo
