The third time was the magic of Monte The Chanoyer giant in the 149th edition of the dog exhibition in Westminster at Madison Square Park on Tuesday evening.
This year the competition was harsh with seven competitors representing their strains and Monteti, the Giant Schnauzer won the third year’s working group.
However, this was the first time that Monte has been named in the show, and the first time the Westminster Dog showed since 2004.

After being isolated during the first two days of the competition, Judge Paula Nikil faced a challenge to give the best in the presentation to only one of seven incredible dogs before settling on Monte.
This was her ninth year to judge the offer, and she says the job is “great” but “difficult”.

Bourbon The Whippeet, close runner -up, he got out of retirement at the age of nine to represent the best Hound Groung Best reserve in the show in addition to winning the Hound group.
Bourbon has been better in the width twice in Westminster before.

Neil The Picchon FreƩ won the non -sporting group, Mercedes The Aranz Shepherd won the sponsorship group, the comet The Shih Tzu won the Games Group, Freddy The English Springer Spanil won the sports group and the comet won The Shih Tzu in the Games Group.
