SVU Fall Finale Clip: Carisi is caught in a hostage situation.

“Hey it’s me, where are you?” Benson asked as he left a voicemail for Carisi while walking through the courthouse. What she doesn’t know is that Carisi walks right into an armed robbery at the deli near her office.

“If you’re not going to listen to me about being so close to police headquarters, at least let the girls go,” Carisi pleaded, referring to two of the four civilians trapped in Daly with the two gunmen. . “They are a liability.”

In a tense moment between one of the attackers and Carisi, the ADA is held to his head with a gun. The gunman forces Carisi to lock the door to the deli so no one else can enter. While doing so, he comes face to face with Benson who is watching him through the window.

No words are exchanged between the two, but she sees the danger inside before quickly leaving. (One of the gunmen appears to be looking at the back of Benson’s head, potentially causing more danger to Carisi as the episode continues.)

“Operator, this is Captain Benson, Manhattan SVU. I have a 10-30 on the corner of Madison and James,” Benson says into the phone. “Be advised there is an ADA on site who is a hostage.”

Rollins can be heard on the phone asking if her husband is OK when the shots are fired. Benson jumps as he listens, keeping the audience on their toes as they prepare for what’s sure to be a tense fall finale.

Law & Order: SVU Season 26 airs on NBC Thursdays at 9pm ET and the following day on Peacock. After tonight, new episodes will return on Thursday, January 16.
