A number of games recently disappeared from the PlayStation store in Sony, which led to speculation to remove it by Sony, according to a report from Eurogamer Monday. Games concerned with random mail or “Eloop”, which are the games that are largely dependent on artificial intelligence and have misleading names and descriptions to attract players.
Sony did not immediately respond to a request to confirm the removal of games.
These games were the subject of a report from IGN Earlier this month in detail the current problematic trend, which mainly affects the PS and Nintendo Eshop store. A small number of developers, who usually consist of only one person, immerses each of the stores with low -cost games that look similar to common games and use AI obstetrics to give up advanced drawings. This aims to tempt players looking for a game on games.
Eloop addresses are usually used as the assets from other games or free assets available from the game developer tools and slapped together to create an experience that does not deserve low cost. Since the games are sold for this low price, the goal of developers is to sell a large number of copies before people hold.
Sometimes they are called “AI SLOP”, developers of these games benefit from the process of issuing certificates to bring their games to store facades with little censorship from store owners. According to the Sony’s and Nintendo stores, these games are immersed while the Microsoft store represents a little more challenge than the game challenge. Likewise, Steam has many games that are added to the attempt to issue multiple titles fail to get any interest from computers.
