Wednesday, November 20 during an appearance on the “Las Culturistas” podcast, hosted by SNLOf Bowen Yang And comedians Matt RogersGastier, 57, said Diddy, 55, “shut down like the whole building” when he appeared on the sketch show in May 1998.

The demand didn’t sit well with some of the show’s cast and crew members, so they found a humorous way to push back.
According to Gasteyer, it was suggested during a writers’ room meeting that cast members Will Ferrell – who was dressed as “Ron”, a character who appeared in a couple of “Mango” sketches with the cast member Chris Cutton – Break into “sealed sets”.
“They were like, ‘Wouldn’t it be so funny if Ron just walked in?’ And he did,” Gastier claimed. “He went down the stairs and he went right in.”
Gastier boasted that he still has the alleged video “from the control room where Sean Combs is rapping [during rehearsal] And Ron looks really upset.”
Calling it “the greatest thing that ever happened”, Gastier claimed that Diddy didn’t take kindly to crashing during their rehearsals.
“He didn’t roll with it,” Gasteyer said. “He was very nervous.”

Farrell, 57 – who attended Saturday Night Live Has backed up Gasteyer’s story before – from 1995 to 2002.
“Someone said, ‘Ron should go on stage,'” Farrell recounted Vulture In 2020, “And before everyone turned to look, I kicked out the door.”
Ultimately, Gastier argued that Diddy’s desire to call all his shots within 30 Rock was indicative of Diddy’s “artificiality of this false importance”.
“Like, what’s going to happen?” he questioned. “You’re going to go into the studio and you’re like, ‘I’m in the studio. I work here.'”
