Cody Brown The wave of emotions was controlled by transferring the ex-wife. Mary Brown in Utah — and he didn’t see it coming.
“Mary is on point today. She’s just an amazing woman that I would love to marry,” Cody, 55, told cameras during the Sunday, Nov. 24 episode. Sister wivesAfter laughing and joking with Mary, 53, in the kitchen of their Arizona home.
The exes, who confirmed their split in January 2023 after more than 30 years together, were on good terms during the episode as Cody helped her pack up her house.
“Hey, listen, we’re like the best divorced couple ever,” Mary told Cody and his sister-in-law. Nathanwho was also there to help him move. “Yeah, she’s a divorced wife’s favorite wife,” Cody teased, referring to his other ex-wives. Christine Brown And Janelle Brown.
The couple’s fun and games ended when Cody successfully unpacked Marie’s belongings at her bed and breakfast in Utah. When he went to leave, he started crying and did not let me go.
“My, it’s the end of an era. It’s been a great run, but I’m not going to let it get me down,” Cody said through tears. “[It] It always blows me away that you get so emotional. “I don’t understand,” Marie replied.
After Marie leaves, Cody explains that this is the first time they’ve really come to terms with the end of their breakup.
“We had something special. …I’m not bitter anymore. I’m not angry. I’m glad you and I figured it out. I’m glad we became friends. I’m glad you’re my favorite ex.” “There’s a wife,” Cody said. “But it’s the weirdest thing to be in this place. It’s kind of heartbreaking.”
He continued, “I love my life, but it’s a lot different than it was three years ago, you know? And it was like everybody else just went, ‘It’s not important.’
Cody admitted that he was “so angry with Christine and Jenelle that I haven’t really been able to deal with the grief. I’ve just been angry.” (Kristen, 52, announced her split from Cody in November 2021, while Jenelle, 55, revealed her split in December 2022.)
But when it comes to his relationship with Marie, he says, “I’m going through this phase of anger.” Cody apologized for his mistakes, saying, “I’m sorry for seven years, but I’m glad we did it because now I can mourn the loss instead of being angry. Does that make sense?” ?”
Cody continued to ramble, telling Mary “if you get married again” that he “wouldn’t be weird,” admitting that the last few minutes “got weird.”
When one of Mary’s friends, who was watching the whole exchange, asked Cody, “Will you be the flower girl?” He replied, “No, I’ll walk her down the aisle.”
Cody’s comment stunned Mary, who married Cody in 1990. The couple legally divorced in 2014 and Cody married his fourth wife. Robin Brown And adopted his children from his second marriage. Marie and Cody were in a spiritual union for almost a decade before they agreed it was over.
“I don’t understand. I don’t know where this is coming from. I don’t understand,” Marie told the cameras. “He made it clear he didn’t want me in his life. So why these feelings?”
Mary, who shares. Leon With Cody, Cody is surprised to talk about her future relationship as well.
“The fact that he’s saying he wants to walk me down the aisle when I get married again, I’m like, ‘Why would he say that?'” she admitted. “Is he serious? Is he trying to joke? Like I can’t tell. I don’t know what’s going on.”
Mir also questioned his sincerity. “He’s crying. He’s saying it’s the end of an era. And I’m thinking it shouldn’t be,” she told the cameras. She later added, “I’m upset about it. I am [this]. I don’t know what to do with it.”
Cody, meanwhile, told the cameras that after splitting from Christine and Jenelle, splitting with Marie felt like “the final nail in the coffin of our dream” as a polyamorous family.
Cody ended his tour with another hug, telling Marie, “It’s the end of an era and now we’re allowed to move on.”
