Biles has been a husband. Jonathan Owens‘ No. 1 cheerleader since they started dating in 2020.
“[I] was done on [dating app Raya] A couple of days and then it pops up. I’m like, ‘Lemme look who it is,'” Owens, then playing for the Houston Texans, said in a December 2023 appearance on “The Pivot” podcast. “I never paid attention to gymnastics, so it piqued my curiosity. [and I was like]’I’ll see what’s going on.’
After gold medalist Owens slipped into a DM, they went on a date and promptly “hit it off.” After two years together, Owens proposed.
Less than a month after their April 2023 wedding, football safety Owens signed with the Green Bay Packers. Throughout the 2023 NFL season, Biles cheered on her husband in custom Packers merch.
