Nvidia once again overtakes Apple to become Wall Street’s most valuable company.

Nvidia once again posted quarterly results that exceeded Wall Street forecasts. The company has seen increased demand for its semiconductors, which are used to power artificial intelligence applications.

Nvidia reported on Wednesday that growth nearly doubled in the latest quarter compared to the same period a year earlier. The company expects further revenue growth in the current quarter ending in January. Investors will be watching to see if demand for the company’s next-generation AI chip Blackwell can help maintain the red-hot momentum.

The company’s journey to become one of the most prominent players in AI has produced some eye-popping numbers. Here’s a look.

Nvidia’s total market capitalization topped the S&P 500 as of Wednesday’s close. It regained the No. 1 game from Apple ($3.461 trillion) earlier this week. Nvidia estimates for fourth-quarter gross revenue, “plus or minus 2%.” That translates to a range of $36.8 billion to $38.3 billion, compared to Wall Street’s estimate of $37.1 billion. Revenue in the year-ago fourth quarter was $22.1 billion.

$126.5 billion

Analysts estimate Nvidia’s earnings for the fiscal year ending January 2025. This will more than double its revenue for fiscal year 2024 and quadruple the previous year’s receipts.

The number of Thanksgiving meals anyone can buy with Nvidia’s market value of $3.579 trillion, using the estimated cost of a 15-item meal from retail intelligence provider Datasembly, is $65.51.
