The New Tottenham, which signs Matess Tel, described his decision to leave Bayern Munich to get the Ange Postecoglou team as the “best option” for his professional life, despite his previous move to North London Club.
The 19 -year -old French striker shifted from the Bundesliga giants to Tottenham on the day of the transfer date, after a sudden change in the heart.
The deal sees it joins an initial loan, with an option to buy for a fee that is believed to be about 50 million pounds. This season, Tel found limited opportunities in Bayern, which includes eight league matches only.
He spoke for the first time as Tottenham player, he said: “I am very excited with my teammates, for the fans. This is a new challenge for me, a new chapter to open it. Very excited.
“Why did I choose Tottenham, because this was the best choice for me, what was important to me. I felt committed, and spoke with President (President Daniel Levy), I spoke to the director.
“I’m a young man. I started to grow and this was the best choice for me and I am very happy.”
Tel is one of three new additions in the first team made by Spears in January, and there will be great expectations for him to make an immediate effect as the club seeks to transform what was a disappointing season. The striker scored 16 goals in 83 games during his period in Bayern.

Tottenham has a harsh round in the Premier League, where she won only two wins in his last 12 games, which left them sitting in the fourteenth place at the table.
However, signs of improvement appeared by beating Brentord 2-0 on Sunday, and they advanced to the last 16 European League.
Tottenham will go to Anfield on Thursday with a 1-0 feature in the second stage of the Carabau Cup semi-finals against Liverpool, a match that can see Tel for the first time in the club.
Tel added: “I think I am a physical, fast, technical player.”
“I play every moment, every game with my heart. I live with this pressure. I must always push myself to go and look forward.”
Tel also revealed that his decision to join Spears was affected by his colleague France under 21 years of age.
“I talked to Wilson, told me that you should come here. He is my friend, I played with him in the French team, we are Hamimoun’s friends. Tell me, come, it’s a great team and you will see. It’s so nice.
“Football is a dream for me, to play with the first team, for the best in the world.
“I am ready for every game. That’s why I am there. I know what I have to do for Tottenham, for the team, for the fans, and I hope to do it.”
