“Although I still have concerns about some of the situations I have taken before, I can commit to curbing the agency’s large range, while ODNI still enables its basic function to support national security,” Senator continued.
“Since it brings independent thinking and the necessary supervision of its new role, I am counting on it to ensure that the safety and civil freedoms of American citizens remain accurately protected.”
Mursovsky voted against the assertion of Higseth’s house to hold the position of defense secretary last month.

“President Trump Toulsi Gabbard chose to be his person in foreign intelligence,” Cassidy said in a statement. “I will trust President Trump in this decision and vote for its confirmation.”
Gabbard, who worked in Congress from early 2013 to early 2021, announced in 2022 that she was leaving the Democratic Party.
