Josh Brolin ‘Almost’ Gets Into A Fight With Denzel Washington

Josh Brolin Considering working with Denzel Washington — and how a slip while rehearsing a scene almost led to a fight between her and the Oscar winner.

Noting that he and Washington, 69, are “great now,” Brolin, 56, shared the story of the pair’s “almost” fight while talking about the shooting of their 2007 film, American GangsterDuring the Wednesday, Nov. 21, episode of the “In Depth with Graham Bensinger” interview series. “In his mind, he was just doing his job. He was the man. He was Frank Lucas, period. But I didn’t know,” he added. “And then we passed that moment. I said, ‘Are you okay?’ He said, ‘Yes, you?’ I said, ‘Yes. Can I have my line?’ He said go for it. It seems he said what he needed to say.
