There are some big Hollywood stars who want to distance themselves from past works, forever worried that nostalgia-crazed fans are fixated on their biggest hits instead of their latest and greatest. Being, with a common goal, fighting for our lives together, brings out the best in us.”

He understandably saved most of his praise for John Carpenter, but Jamie Lee Curtis also thanked “every creative member of the seven films and my co-stars, without whom none of this would have happened.” Considering how prominent she is in the franchise, it’s honestly heartwarming that the iconic actress wants to honor everyone involved in the long-running franchise. Jamie Lee Curtis may have become a household name thanks to her portrayal of a precocious teenager, but she ended her Instagram message with some parental advice for many of her followers…namely, “stay safe” and “ Having “fun” by making “good choices”. It’s scary weather. That would be good advice coming from anyone, but it means something special is coming from this horror icon. After all, who better than Hollywood’s first Final Girl to help us all survive this year’s Halloween?
