Jay Shah will be seen at Brisbane

Newly appointed ICC chairman, Jay Shah will make his appearance in Gabba, for the third test of India vs Australia in Gabba.The match will begin from December 14.

BCCI interim secretary Devajit Saikia will also attend the match with Jay Shah. Jay Shah will mark his official  presence for the first time as ICC chairman. He claimed this prestigious position on December 1,2024.

Jay Shah’s Journey From BCCI To ICC

Jay Shah has previously served as the BCCI secretary, officially took charge as the International Cricket Council (ICC) chairman. He was elected as the chairman after an uncontested election that was held on August 28, 2024.Devajit Saikia has been selected as interim BCCI secretary

The Border-Gavaskar Trophy holds immense significance for Team India. India wants to secure a spot in the World Test Championship (WTC) final for their third consecutive time.
