The Pittsburgh Steelers are firmly in charge of the AFC North this season. The Cleveland Browns are firmly in the basement. That means tonight’s matchup between the division rivals is either going to be a shocker or a massacre. The smart money is on the carnage.
The Steelers are 8-2, while the Browns are just 2-8. It’s a dramatic fall for Cleveland, which was part of the postseason in 2023-2024, making it all the way to the wild card game, where they lost to Texas. This year, the Browns have less than a 1% chance of making the playoffs.
Still, sometimes an analogy can be amusing. (Heck, the Paul-Tyson fight numbers suggest people are happy to see one!) And the slight chance that the underdog will take out the king is always exciting.
