NAGOYA (Reuters) – Bank of Japan Governor Kazuo Yoda said on Monday the central bank would continue to raise interest rates if economic and price developments were in line with his forecasts.
“The timing of when we adjust the degree of our monetary support will depend on the economic, price and fiscal outlook,” Ueda said in a speech in the central Japanese city of Nagoya, adding that the BOJ would examine various risks. Will include overseas and market development.
