For three and a half months Giselle Pelicot has attended court hearings in Avignon, France against her former husband and 50 other men accused of raping her while she was drugged unconcious. Pelicot’s insistence that the trial be made public to raise awareness of the dangers of the drug used on her and her refusal to be shamed has won her international acclaim.
