F1, ESPN open talks on next US media rights deal, FT reports via Reuters

(Reuters) – Formula One has opened talks with broadcaster ESPN over its next U.S. media rights deal with one year remaining on the current deal, the Financial Times said on Thursday.

Formula One and ESPN are locked in talks over an exclusive period that expires before the end of the year, the FT report said, citing two people with direct knowledge of the matter.
