Direct TV ends Dish deal over failed debt swap – Reuters


(Reuters) – U.S. satellite TV provider DirecTV said on Thursday it has terminated its agreement to acquire the satellite television business of Echostar (NASDAQ: ) rival Dish over a failed debt swap offer. TV is also included.

DirecTV said the termination of the deal will be effective Friday.
