CNN is reportedly preparing to lay off “hundreds” of employees in the early days of President Donald Trump’s second administration.

The CNN employee added: “It’s a time of absolute, complete overhaul of a business model and chaos. It’s very difficult even under the best of circumstances.”

Another CNN employee cited Thompson, who has been in the position for just over a year, as being frank about how the company will have to undergo major changes to survive.

“I’m concerned because the industry is clearly in trouble… I’m sure there will be cuts,” the second CNN employee told Fox News Digital.
