Back to full speed – BionicOldGuy

Last Tuesday I went on my group ride, and was able to keep up just fine, with no electric help on the flats and help on the hills. This has been a fun trip. On Wednesday I went for an easy two hour cruise on my bed. Thursday was a combination of a strenuous upper body workout and a strenuous, two-hour ride, which was thankfully well tolerated (no escalation!). Friday and Saturday were an easy 90 minute ride, on Friday, recumbent on Saturday. Yesterday’s workout was a repeat of Thursday’s workout, but this one was two and a half hours long. I was a bit tired later but I feel good today. It’s great to be back. But I need to keep doing my PT to keep my bone issues under control, and back off if there are any symptoms.
