Jadon Sancho says everyone at Chelsea is buying into Enzo Maresca’s methods as the Blues continue to impress under the Italian.
The English winger, who is on loan from Manchester United, has scored in his last two games with the West Londoners currently flying high in second in the Premier League.
Sancho looks to be returning to the player which saw him rise to prominence at Borussia Dortmund after a torrid period following his move to United in 2021.
And the 24-year-old said he immediately bought into Maresca’s philosophy after sealing his loan switch in August.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Sancho said: “He’s a very good coach and he understands players but he’s very hard on you if you don’t do the right stuff. I feel like every player is buying into how he works and is eager to learn.
“My first talk with him I got a good feeling, a good impression so I wanted to play under him.
“It was just like when I entered the room I felt his aura, his presence, especially when he’s talking to you because he’s played the game so he has a lot of experience. He can teach all the guys something, so I feel like it was good.”

Sancho has had to wait patiently to get his chance in West London with Blues boasting a vast amount of quality in attack, with the trickster battling with the likes of Pedro Neto, Noni Madueke, Cole Palmer and Joao Felix for a starting spot.
But he has made it count when given the opportunity in recent weeks, scoring off the bench against Southampton before netting from the start in a 4-3 win over rivals Tottenham.
“I’ve been practising my shooting,” Sancho said. “I like to give my friends the glory in front of the camera, so I try to assist them as much as I can, but in training they’ve seen that I’ve got a nice shot, and I know I can shoot.
“I’ve just been practising that and I’m happy that I’ve got the goal against Tottenham.
“I’m just focused game by game and hopefully I can keep this moment up. I’m very happy, working hard for the team, and the main aim is getting the three points every week.
