Last month, when Nayanthara’s documentary Beyond the Fairytale was released on Netflix, no one would’ve thought it would take an ugly turn. For the documentary, Nayan and the team used a few seconds of clips from the BTS of the movie Naanum Rowdy Dhan. It is the same movie that led to the actress meeting Vignesh Shivan, and they eventually fell in love. Nayanthara on her equation with Dhanush

After all the drama and controversies, Nayanthara was asked if she is angry with Dhanush and if their relationship has turned sour over the years. The actress told The Hollywood Reporter India that there were several calls Vignesh made to the Atrangi Re actor’s manager and even to people who are friends with him. But nothing helped them out. At one point, they decided they should not use the clip, as they decided it’s okay if he doesn’t want to give the NOC to it as it is his film. The actress stated that the actor has all the rights to say if the clips should be used or not. “We went past that whole thing. We just wanted to use four lines that Vignesh had written in the film. That was very personal to us. So that’s the only thing we wanted in the documentary. For which we really, really tried. Those four lines would sum up our life and our love. That’s why it was so important for us to have those four lines, and that’s what we were trying to get,” revealed the actress. Further in this entertainment news, the Maya actress revealed that she just wanted to talk to Dhanush and understand what the problem was, and hey, he is so furious at them. The actress wanted to find out if he’s really angry with them or if there are any misunderstandings. Nayanthara stated that she and Dhanush don’t have to be best friends, but they have to clear things out so that whenever they see each other in the future, they can greet each other.

The Jawan actress said that when the entire lawsuit drama happened, she wasn’t angry with the Captain Miller star. They just decided not to use the lyrics and decided to make another song, which Vignesh sang.
