Despite the lack of plans, what she and Deschanel, 44, want for a wedding hasn’t changed at all.
Jonathan said us in June that they “intend to keep it intimate” in terms of the guest list. He said at the time that the “main thing” he was looking for was “a kicks party with the people we love.”
“The ceremony and the pomp and circumstance, we’ll get that out of the way, and then it’s the reception,” Jonathan added. “It’s going to be a blast.”
He also suspected that the new labels of husband and wife would not change their relationship at all.
“I’m already playing that role,” Jonathan said.
She met Deschanel in 2019 when they filmed an episode Carpool Karaokeand they first struck up a friendship. Once Jonathan realized that the actress had separated from her ex-husband, Jacob PatchnickThings turned romantic. (Deschanel and Pechenik ended their marriage in 2020 after nearly four years. Jonathan said of the show, “I think we’ve showcased real stories and if anyone’s done renovations recently, they can appreciate when you have a hidden problem and It’s a huge expense.” “One of the homes we discovered had a $50,000 hidden problem, and that’s devastating news to receive, especially when you’ve already maxed out your budget.”
Both had a certain hope in mind for this show.
“Our goal was to help people fall in love with their home,” Jonathan said. “Your home has to work hard to make life easier for you and you see the raw side of people come out and lose their minds, but you also see these beautiful renovations at the end. is.”
