Defense Minister Beit Higseth reported on Friday that “the reality of the American forces in Ukraine is unlikely,” but he insisted that there is no light day “between him and Vice President JD Vance.
At a dual press conference with the Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister WłDysław Kosiniak-kamysz, Higseth touched on the possibility of going to Ukraine. Initially, he seemed to close the idea, but then seemed to not take it completely outside the table.
“He will not put restrictions on what the President of the United States will be ready to negotiate with the sovereign leaders in both Russia and Ukraine,” he added.

On Thursday, in an exclusive interview with Wall Street MagazineAccording to Vans, Vans said that the option to send American forces to Ukraine remained “on the table.”

“To be clear, as part of any security guarantee, American forces will not be deployed in Ukraine,” he said.
