Diogo Dalot believes that Manchester United can win the Premier League during the reign of Robin Amorim – but he admitted that it would take some time.
United fell in the thirteenth place in the Premier League after a weak season so far, with the decision to replace its former president, Eric Tin Hag, with Amorim in November, doing little to inspire the rise in form.
Red Devils has lost seven of their 11th matches in the Premier League since the former sports director took over.
However, despite its results, the international Portugal believes that he saw enough country to persuade him that the 40 -year -old will prove that he is discussed.
Speak in a chat with a United supporters group“I think realistically, we can win. But it becomes the most difficult thing to hear as a fan: it will take some time,” Dalut said.
“I understand. I am a player, but at the same time, I know what you feel. I know that this club is thirsty to win and everyone wants to win. We are not talking about the cups – I know this is important, to win the prizes – but what brought this club to what it is He has great prizes.
“I think we can win the Premier League with this manager, but at the same time, we need to create an environment in which all the players want it. We also need to adapt to the system. It will take some time.
“Obviously, we cannot think much about the future, but I am really convinced that the way he behaves himself, the way he communicates with the players, and the idea that he has … we can do this.
“Now it is the most difficult part, but being really honest and positive, I think we can win great prizes with this manager.”

United has been criticized for their performance this season, as Amorim himself admits that the current crop could be the worst in the club’s history.
But the 25 -year -old says there are also signs that Amorim will get it in the right track in the near future.
“I see things a little different,” Dalut explained. “It is clear that I participate every day, at every moment with my teammates, with people all over the club, with new employees, and you can see that there is one way to go to it.
“Sometimes when you go this way, you have a lot of things that you need to change, and there are many changes that occur in the club, and it is always difficult at this stage where you want to change things at the same time, you need to win the matches.
“In the past two months, we have been trying to train during games, so it was a really difficult process.
“I don’t like to look as if it were always excuses, but this is the reality, and sometimes we need to confront it. But at the same time, we were fighting and trying to improve things.
“But we also know that we have a lot of responsibility and we need to do much better than we were doing in recent matches.
“Since there is some moments that we have shown, we can be a good team; we can do what the manager wants from us to do. We are just trying to find this consistency.”
