Alphonso Davies committed to Bayern Munich, and signed a new contract with the Bundesliga heroes.
After announcing the deal on Tuesday, it actually ended Real Madrid’s lengthy attention to the Canadian star.
The new Davies agreement will retain in Allianz Arena until the end of the 2029-30 season, representing what could be 11 years with the club if he sees the full contract.
“I am very happy to expand my contract in this great club,” Davis said in a statement.
“I came to FC Bayern when I was 18 years old and just wanted to learn as much as possible every day to become one of my best in my position. Now I am looking for another five years together. I have already achieved a lot here, but there is more in the future.”
Davis’s decision to stay with Real Madrid, who was keen to secure the services of the 24 -year -old left back.

His previous contract is scheduled to expire in June 2025, and Madrid was hoping for either negotiating the transfer fees or bringing him in a free transfer this summer.
Despite Madrid’s interest, Bayern was determined to keep Davies, as he gave him a strengthening contract to secure his stay in Munich.
“Alfonso Davis has become one of the world’s best players in Bayern and attracted a lot of attention,” Bayern Sports Director, Bayern, said.
“The fact that he wants to continue here with us in Bayern’s position in international football and Alfonso found his sports house in Munich.”
This season, Davis appeared in 16 matches in the German League under the leadership of coach Vincent Combani, the network was found once with Bayern’s help in keeping its place at the top of the table.
Davis originally joined Bayern of Vancouver Whitecaps in 2019, and has since developed into one of the main players in the world.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid continues to search for reinforcements in the left back due to the uncertainty surrounding Ferland Mindy and Fran Garcia.
The Spanish giants have a history of securing the best talents in free transfers, with recent examples including Kylian Mbappe in 2024, Antonio Rudiger in 2022, and David Alaba from Bayern in 2021.
