Andy Cohen Says Late Joan Rivers ‘Would Beg’ Him To Get Botox

“I haven’t touched. [my face]. I’ve never even had Botox,” Cohen, 56, revealed during the “How to Fail With Elizabeth Day” podcast released Wednesday, Nov. 20.John RiversBefore she died, she begged me to get botox.

As far as Cohen knows, she’s one of the only television hosts in Hollywood who hasn’t had a bit of a facelift.

“Every guy I know who’s hosting a TV show, they’re basically all younger than me or around my age. They’ve all had Botox. Watch what happens live the host continued. “I look at their forehead. I’m like, ‘Your forehead doesn’t move.’ But I haven’t done it yet.”

Elsewhere in the episode, it was noted that Cohen is the “only” gay late-night TV host.

“How about he’s a gay man who doesn’t have Botox?” he sneered. “Wait a minute.”

Cohen noted that she is open to getting Botox in the future, but said “it’s not something I think I need to do”. “I don’t know who I would do it for,” he admitted. “I’ll probably do it soon, maybe. I don’t know.”

He shared a hilarious story about “a bunch of gay guys” who went through plastic surgery that he met this past summer.

“I said to my friend who brought them… ‘It’s like this. BootedCohen recalled. “I said, ‘It has to stop.’ I said, ‘Your generation, what are you doing to yourselves?’ Like, you’re pretty young, stop it.”

“I think people need to control themselves,” he added.

“If I was straight and I was having some conversations with a lot of women that we’re having about body parts and things like that,” she explained. “I think I’m able to be a little more physical about it because I haven’t slept with a woman. I don’t intend to sleep with a woman. I think we have a safe place where we Can get together and have an honest conversation.

Cohen said his show offers a “safe” space for some of his female guests.

“I like camp, I like fun, I like dark humor, I like pushing the envelope,” he explained. “I think I get away with talking about certain topics because I’m gay. Jimmy Fallon Never will.”
