Paul Tellpartner of Emilia Torelloopened up about health battles. One Tree Hill The alum faced 35 years before his death.
Torello said TMZ on Monday, Nov. 18, that Teal died seven months after being diagnosed with stage IV neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer. Tell died on Friday, November 15 at a hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina, he told the outlet.
“He was the most talented man I ever met. When he set his mind to something, there was no stopping him. He was the hardest working and most dedicated person,” she said. Really believed with all his heart that he would bring out the other side of him because of these traits. This is what makes this loss even more tragic.
Amidst his cancer battle, Torello said Till was inspired by filming his new Starz series, The Hunter’s Wifes (show, featuring cast members Dermot Mulroney And Britney listenExpected to premiere in 2025.)
Torello paid tribute to Tell in a sweet Instagram post on Sunday, Nov. 17. “The most thoughtful, inspiring, driven, self-disciplined, loving man passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024,” he wrote. “Paul, you were my partner, my soon-to-be husband, my rock and my future.”
Turillo hinted that Teal is struggling with health issues. “You filled my lungs with laughter, my stomach with butterflies and my heart with love,” she continued. “You were taken too soon, in a battle you fought bravely without fail.”
She continued, “While a part of me died with you, I promise to fight as hard to find happiness in life as you fought to live every single day. Good luck to the world.” He even had a moment with Paul Tell, and I’m the luckiest person ever, because I got to call you mine. I’ll always love you.”
Along with the emotional message, Torello posted a black-and-white photo of her kissing Teal on the cheek as she smiled at the camera.
Following the news of his death, former Tell costars Bethany Joy Lanes Honored his memory. (The tale appeared in seven episodes. One Tree Hill (in 2010).
“My heart is heavy. Paul Tell was the kind of man who lit up a room without trying,” Lenz wrote. “His bright smile, infectious laugh and kind heart made you want to be close to him.”
Lenz added a video slideshow of him and Tell on stage for the 2006 musical adaptation. Notebook. “He was shy and funny and so comfortable on stage. Wow. Like his second skin. You couldn’t take your eyes off him,” she wrote. “Later, I was roped in to direct an episode. One Tree Hill Where I will be casting a new recurring character, Josh – the sleazy movie star. With his sense of humor and willingness to dive fully into any character, Paul was perfect for the part. He was happy to work in any environment and was very generous.
Lenz said she and Teal stayed “on and off” over the years, but wished she had reached out “more.”
“Now at 35, he took another train. He was too young to die. Too young. I’m worried,” she wrote. “Paul, your time here was like a summer romance for all of us who knew you, especially if only for one season. Explosive, passionate, deeply moving, and unforgettable.”
