“I’ve never felt like this before,” Christine, 52, told cameras during the Sunday, Nov. 17 episode of the TLC series as viewers watched her propose to David, 60, on screen. “There’s never been so much love.”

Christine then admitted, “I’ve never loved Cody as much as I love David. Never loved Cody like I love David. Never.”

During the episode, David takes Christine to Moab, Utah to see the red rocks and clear skies before getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him. The proposal, which occurred in April 2023, completely ignored Christine.

“He’s so sweet and so romantic and so genuine and I had no idea he was going to propose,” she said of the moment David told her he was “the one” for her.

Christine, who was spiritually married to Cody, 55, from 1994 to 2021, admitted she was surprised by how much David loved her when he asked her to marry him. (Christine and Cody have six children.)

“What he said was just so beautiful and perfect. And he got down on one knee. It was a perfect day,” she gushed. “I’m so excited. I feel like this life is just starting over. And I love it.”

Christine, who was Cody’s third wife before their divorce, noted that her life with David has made her see things differently. (Christine and David were married in October 2023.)

“There’s a whole new level of love that I haven’t had before,” Christine said. “Now I love so deeply, so richly. I’m just loved. David loves me and there’s no question. He just loves me.”

While Christine was over the moon to be engaged to David, she threw a few jabs at her ex-husband in the episode. However, Cody has criticized Christine several times since the split.

During a September 2022 episode Sister wivesCody told Christine that he “wasn’t attracted” to her on their wedding day. “I felt the pressure in the marriage,” she said. “I didn’t know any better at the time.”

Christine revealed in the same episode that there was a “romantic connection” for him when she said, “I do,” and that she was unaware of Cody’s feelings until he voiced it.

The following year, Christine said that lack of intimacy added to Cody’s reason for leaving. “It was five times a year,” she said in a December 2023 appearance on the “Juicy Scoop” podcast about how often she had sex with Cody before they broke up.

“There’s sex and then there’s intimacy. What we didn’t have was intimacy. Intimacy itself was gone for years,” Christine recalled once Cody told her he wanted to have sex in 2020. After doing so, he began “boxing his things” and said he could no longer sleep in his own bed.

Through all the drama – and the first wife Mary Brown And second wife Janelle Brown Leaving Cody in 2023 and 2022, respectively — Cody has said he wasn’t wrong. She alleged on a September episode of the TLC show that she planned to end all of her failed marriages because of her duty.

“I didn’t kick me out. Christine, Janelle and Mary all chose to leave me at home,” Cody said during the Sept. 22 episode. Sister wives incident, insisting he was “not playing the victim card.”

Cody further claimed that despite all their differences, he was “never going to leave them, no matter how much I love them.”

While Christine and Cody have now both been vocal about their alleged lack of love for each other, Cody has taken a different approach to dumping Mary, 53.

The former couple, who were legally married in 1990, had a rocky decade together before splitting in January 2023, but on Sunday’s episode, Cody had a heartbreak for her. (Mary and Cody divorced in 2014 and Cody later married a fourth wife. Robin Brown And adopted his three children from his previous marriage. Mary and Cody were in a spiritual union for about 10 years.)

“I don’t understand Cody. He’s done everything in his power to push me away for the last decade,” Marie said during a confessional on Sunday’s episode after telling Cody that she’d moved to Utah earlier than planned. has been “And now I’m moving on. And he’s like, ‘Why are you in such a hurry?’ Like, why do you care? Isn’t that what you wanted?”

Cody gave an insight into his feelings, telling the cameras, “My immediate reaction was, ‘Well, this would be good for me.’ But I don’t tell Mary what’s going on in my heart anymore, it’s not really safe.”

During a conversation with Cody, Mary asks him to help her move by driving a truck from Arizona to Utah. “Call it my severance package,” he said with a laugh.

“It’s a weird place to be with the separation package thing because I don’t know if it’s passive aggressive or if it’s just aggressive or if it’s a joke and I don’t know,” Cody said. “And I don’t know my whole marriage.”

Cody later admitted: “There are a lot of mixed emotions. It would be nice to move Marie. It’s a start. [But] I have a bit of a nostalgic heart and it’s a bit broken.
