Anupamaa Written Update Today (August 12, 2024) –
Tosho doubts and visits Mino
Toshu shares with Vanraj that he was already suspicious of Meenu as she used to visit Asha Bhavan often. Buddy sarcastically comments on Minu’s choice of the only poor man in the whole world. Da hears this and is shocked. Dimpy arrives with a video of Sagar and Meenu, but Titu tries to stop her. Pakhi reveals that their father has already watched the video.
When Kinjal asks what happened, Toshu tells her not to defend Meenu, meaning she is not innocent. Pakhi supports this, but Kinjal insists it may be a misunderstanding. Ba sits in distress, worried about what to say to Dolly and Sanjay. Pakhi adds that they don’t know what Minu does when she is alone.
Vanraj’s imaginary encounter
Vanraj sees Meenu coming and imagines her telling her that freedom is not for her, accusing her of betraying his trust by visiting Asha Bhavan. He threatens to restrict her movements, saying that she will not meet Sagar or leave the house without supervision. In his imagination, Meenu defends Sagar, saying that she loves him and that he is a good person. Then Vanraj comes out of his thoughts and walks out angrily.
Meenu’s fear in the ashram
Minu changes her clothes in the ashram and feels afraid even though she is a psychiatrist. Anupamaa consoles her saying that she understands how she feels. Meanwhile, Bala takes care of Sagar’s injuries, and asks him why he is fighting with so many goons. Saher replies that it is about protecting the girl’s honor. Anupamaa helps Meenu by stitching the sleeves of her dress and urges her to change her clothes and talk to Vanraj before she does so.
Vanraj’s disappointment and Meenu’s call
Vanraj and Toshu see Meenu coming out of the ashram with others. Kinjal and Titu try to reassure Baa, who fears that Dolly and Sanjay Kumar will break off their relationship. Ba expresses concern that it is four times harder to take care of someone else’s daughter. Kinjal warns Baa to be calm for the sake of her health, but Baa feels that she has been stuck in constant problems since their arrival.
Vanraj notices Meenu looking upset and asks what happened but she assures him that everything is fine. However, she soon breaks down and tells them everything, explaining that Sagar saved her and that she went to Mami because she always remembers her in times of trouble. Vanraj decides to call Dolly saying that he will bring Meenu back as she is not listening to him. Meenu cries and begs Vanraj not to take her back and explains everything to her mother over the phone.
Anupamaa and Nandita’s concerns
Anupamaa and Nandita pack meals and talk about Indra not calling or replying to their messages. Nandita mentions that they have only four food orders, and Anupamaa suggests that they try to get canteen orders from the college.
Vanraj’s predictions from Meenu
Vanraj stops Meenu from touching his feet saying that she is not just his niece but is like a daughter to him. He remembers how he placed her feet on his forehead when she was born and took her blessings. Vanraj admits that he has no hopes for Toshu and Pakhi but has high expectations from her. He mentions that Toshu and Pakhi are not listening to him, but he hopes that she will.
Minoo’s dilemma and Sagar’s resolve
Sagar thinks about Meenu while wearing his uniform, and decides not to think about her as they are not a good match. Vanraj warns Meenu that associating with Sagar will destroy his reputation in society and asks her to cut ties with him. Meenu agrees to follow his wishes.
After Vanraj leaves, Toshu and Pakhi also warn her, and Baa tells her not to insult the family. Meenu cries and hugs Kinjal, feeling the burden of expectations and wondering why there are conditions in relationships. She expresses her deep connection with Mami and considers Sagar a good friend. Meanwhile, Bala tells Anupamaa about someone saving Anuj from an electric shock and asks her to find Aadhya to keep him safe.
