Stephen King and “light-hearted sci-fi procedural” just don’t seem like it goes together, and honestly, Heavena SyFy original series, based solely on a King novella, Colorado Kid. The book is about a mysterious death in a small town in Maine that is investigated by two local newspaper reporters. Which defies explanation. If Buffy And NCIS Got together and had a baby, that would be the show, which is impossible to take seriously but one of the lightest, fastest binge-watches available today.

The last of his generation
I was a sucker for this generation of SyFy originals, from Eureka And Warehouse 13 To Shelter And HeavenBeing light, simple watches that don’t demand much from the viewer. Like a bag of potato chips, none of these shows will fill you up or have deep, philosophical messages to get you across, but what they are is incredibly entertaining from start to finish. is Of course, as SyFy is original, the crew had to get creative with their budgets, and the shows might look a little… cheap… compared to today’s million dollar streaming shows, but that’s part of the charm.
You can’t compare Heaven Like a direct Stephen King series adaptation rose red, Castle Rockor StandAlthough it is filled with small references to his extensive catalog of work, it is still better than that.
